I am officially certified in CPR! Last night our ward had a free CPR class for anyone interested. I haven't taken one in years and years. I think the last time I learned CPR was my Freshman year of High School in Health/PE. I'm really glad I took a 're-fresher' course. They have changed a lot of things in the past 14-ish years. I learned a lot as well. I was the most excited about the child and infant part of it for obvious reasons. That is something that I hadn't ever learned. Jeremy and I both took the class since they had a nursery provided. A sweet lady in our ward held Drew the entire time. She's a RN so obviously didn't need the class; she was the one who organized it all. Kourtney on the other hand had a rough time in the nursery. She's going through a really clingy stage right now. Jeremy was such a trooper and stepped out of the class to take care of Kourt. I was getting up to go, and he made me sit back down. He reminded me that he isn't able to help on Sunday's because he's up on the stand, and I'm the one who's with the kids just about 24/7 so it's more important for me to finish the class. I was so grateful! It really was nice to let him deal with crying kids, while I sat there and learned. So thanks a bunch Jeremy!!! Since my partner had to leave, I was the demonstration dummy! I learned I don't ever want to choke because it hurts when they try to get stuff out. I have a bruise on my chest this morning! So, if you're choking or not breathing and I'm around, I'm ready! But, I'm praying that's never the case. I'm glad I'm prepared, but I'd hope never to have to use what I learned!

Thats so nice that they offered that class!!! I need to take a cpr class too, especially the infant and child part, since I am usually home alone with Broc. Brian is certified but Ive always thought it would be a good idea for me to be also!
