Dirt + Water = Mud

Last Saturday was such a beautiful day. The weather was perfect all day long. The girls played and played in the dirt hills & trenches all day long. It was about 4:30 pm, and we were relaxing in my parents back yard, when my nephew Jace came over. He is two weeks younger than Kourtney and so active, and such a fun little guy. He walked out the back door, spotted the water on the grass, and replied, "Water! I can jump it!" He had his tennis shoes on, so all at once everyone said "No Jace.....take your shoes off first......go ask your mom....." He would have none of that, and off he went. This is how the fun began. As soon as he was in the water, the girls couldn't resist joining in. They too had their tennis shoes on, but there was no stopping them either. So, after about 40 minutes of jumping in the water, after being covered from head to toe in dirt, I had some seriously muddy, but oh so happy girls. Thank goodness kids are washable!
