Lexi's First Soccer Game

Tuesday night was Lexi's first soccer game.......kinda! It was supposed to be last Saturday, but the fields were flooded. So, the game was postponed to Tuesday night. But, unfortunately for us, a huge wind/rain storm decided to show up to this one. The kids only played about 6 minutes before the wind, rain, and lightening were too bad. So, her first official game didn't even last one full quarter. It was still fun to watch and she'll have plenty more games in the following weeks.

She was more interested in the flowers she found than warming up with her team......such a girly girl!

OK, so she did do a few stretches after all.

Ready for a kick-off. She was always the first one back to the circle after each goal was scored. She said the kick-off is her favorite part.

She's not a very aggressive player, but then again she's only 4. I guess Aunt KK will have to teach Lexi some of her mad skills!

After the storm, we looked outside to see a full double rainbow. The sun was setting behind us, so the colors seem darker than they actually were. I couldn't get a picture of the entire thing with my camera, and of course the colors aren't as bright as it actually was. And, the only double part I got was of the side. But, it really was a full double one. It was so pretty! The girls stood at the window for about 30 minutes until it faded away just staring at all the colors.
