How to pick a NCAA Playoff bracket, by Amanda:
Step 1: Join a group online.
Step 2: Give your bracket a name. (ex. 'Amanda's gonna lose')
Step 3: Close your eyes.
Step 4: Click away until your done.
Step 5: Save your bracket and do not look at it until the tourney is over.
Step 6: After the tourney is over, look at your bracket covered in red marks and realize that your name was spot on.......Amanda's gonna lose!
I have filled out a bracket every year since Jeremy and I have been married. I have lost every year except for one (I finished second to last). Maybe I should actually start paying attention? Nah, this way is more fun! Happy picking everyone!
Update: So Jeremy didn't like the name of my previous bracket. He said I need to think positive. So, I renamed it from 'Amanda's gonna lose' to.........'My favorite color is red'! I think that's a great name, and it's true. Red really is my favorite color.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. Instead of closing my eyes though I pick the team with the coolest name (like Xavier) or the team I've actually heard of. And of course I pick BYU to win every year. It is my duty as an alumna. The only reason I'm doing it is to prove to my family that it's ok to try things you aren't good at or have any interest in. Maybe I'm just still sore from when they rejected my family scrapbook idea at the family reunion. Just kidding.
Whatever Ginger we didn't reject your idea, our family is just kinda lame when it comes to participating in anything new, haha! Anyways, I did my bracket this year with our family too and this time I actually put some effort into it! I went and looked at all the teams stats and investigated it fully, so if I lose horribly this year then I must really stink!
Red's my favorite color too!
I am very involved with the 912 Project. If you go onto the website and click on Stand and Lead, you will meet hundreds of people just like you who are concerned for our nation. Read the comments and ideas. Please take this seriously; especially those of us that are LDS.
