Last night we had a little FHE lesson on missionaries since Wes is leaving this week. I'm a little emotional about the situation, and I've shed a tear or two lately. I am so happy and excited and proud of Wes, but I will miss him very very much!
Well, as we were having a little family discussion, I asked the girls what they thought Wes would do while on his mission. Lexi said "Wes is going to teach people about Jesus." I told her that was a great answer and that was exactly what he would do.
Then I asked Kourt what she thought Wes would do on his mission. She replied, "He's going to teach all the little kids how to kill scary monsters!" It was hilarious, and it gave me a good laugh to stop my tears.
So, now you all know what Wes will be doing for the next two years.......he is on monster patrol!
Now I'm off to spend the last few hours with my baby brother (and try not to cry while I'm there)!

Ahhh how cute, little kids have a way of always making us smile! Don't worry the 2 years will go by fast!

Wouldn't it be nicer if he was on Monster patrol closer to home?! That's the cutest thing I've heard! It's hard and exciting! Happy and sad tears! You can do it!
