We skipped out on our weekend trip to Arizona (see post below) early to head over to Albuquerque. Jeremy was summoned for jury duty. We were hoping that it would get canceled and we could stay in AZ longer, but it didn't. Oh well. So, instead of Jeremy taking the kids and I home, then turning around and going to Albuquerque, we decided to make a family trip out of it and go straight there from AZ. We spent Sunday night in a hotel and took the kids swimming....always a favorite!
Jeremy had to be at the court house 7:30 Monday morning, so we dropped him off in our jammies, and went back to the hotel for a couple of hours. The kids loved watching cartoons in the big bed together!
I took the kids to the Explora Children's Museum. The really had fun. The music section and bubbles were their favorites. We didn't even get to half of the stuff either.....there was so much to do! I didn't get the camera out very much either (I was too busy trying to chase three kids in three different directions most of the time). It was a little hectic, but a lot of fun. I definitely want to take them back when I have more time, and another adult with me.
Jeremy got dismissed from the jury (YAY!) just in time to go to a track meet with me. It was a great coincidence that the Marilyn Sepulveda track meet was the same day we were down there. It is an invitation only track meet for the top 8 in the state in each event. And, my baby brother Wesley, and my niece Melanie both got an invite! So, we headed over to UNM to watch Wesley throw his big stick (javelin), and Melanie throw her ball (shot put) and frisbee (discus). And, a post wouldn't be complete without a picture of Kourtney!
And that's how we spent our day in Albuquerque!

Drew looks so cute in that picture! What a fun trip!
The Explora Children's Museum looks like it was a lot of fun. Jury duty yuck! But you are right it is really nice that it all worked out. I miss watching track meets. So the little Albuquerque trip was fun.
