On Monday, we got the first real snow of the winter! It was great, and my kids were in heaven. Lexi is really into the seasons lately and she relates events to what season they are in. For example, Megan's baby was born in the fall, and Christmas and Andrew coming are in the winter. Except, she's a smart little girl and knows that it snows in the winter. So, when Christmas came, and then Drew was born the next day, Lexi was so confused because there wasn't any snow. So, every night since Christmas, Lexi has prayed for snow. Last weekend it rained and rained, and we were so hopefull that we would wake up to white, but alas, no snow. So, needless to say, when Lexi woke up on Monday morning, she was thrilled. We even convinced dad to come home early for a snow day! We went next door to my parents house (they have a lot bigger yard to play in) and had fun. I missed out for a little bit while I was inside my parents feeding Drew. But after that, I handed him to grandma to hold and I went out and joined the party. Aunt KK and Uncle Wes played with us too. It was so much fun!!! Here are some pictures of the fun!
After we were all freezing and done playing, we went inside Grandma's to warm up and fill our bellies. Lexi had fun helping grandma make crust for some yummy chicken pot pie, and got a little carried away with the flour! And, Kourt was feeling left out, so she put flour on her nose to join in on the fun!
