Mr. Mischief Maker

I was warned. By lots of people. Boy are trouble. They make messes. I didn't believe them. No, not my sweet precious baby boy. He would never cause trouble. He's an angel. He's so quiet, and sweet, and mellow. I have a calm baby boy. You people must be wrong, I would think.

I am eating my words. I was completely wrong (and I don't admit that very often either)!

This baby boy of mine is a handful! Here are a few of his most recent antics just since school started....(I only have a few pictures.....he keeps me too busy to grab the camera most times.
  • Dumped an entire box of cereal on the floor, and then sat and jumped in it.....twice!

  • Completely dismantled Jeremy's electric razor (the battery was dead, and it also wasn't plugged in, so no worries about shaving himself).

  • Scribbled all over my wood floor with a Sharpie marker. I think I am going to invest in magic eraser stock.
  • He opened two Capri Sun's by himself and then was fascinated by the squirting liquid through that tiny little straw.

  • He drank, yes I just said drank, the pancake syrup from the bottle. And I mean he guzzled that stuff......nasty! (this has happened twice by the way......I think this kid likes sugar in all forms)
  • He poured half a gallon of milk on the floor trying to pour himself a cup to drink. I had already gotten him a sippy cup with milk, but apparently he wanted to get his own drink.
  • He crawls out of his crib all the time! My girls never did this......guess it's time for a big boy bed. He has always been my best sleeper, but climbing in and out of the crib is just too much temptation for him.
  • He cut his shirt with a pizza cutter. He got it out of the dishwasher. In my defense, I do keep knives and sharp objects as high as I can, but he still manages to find things.
  • He dumped an entire brand new bottle of shampoo out in his bathtub.
  • He is fluent in the words don't, no, and stop mom.

And this is just the beginning. You may be thinking that I just let him run around unobserved all day. But the truth is that almost every single one of these things happens in less than a minute. Trouble usually follows when I do things like switch the laundry, go to the bathroom, do the dishes, or most frequently he makes a mess while I clean up a different mess.

Good thing I love him so much. And, he still makes my heart melt with his hugs and slobbery kisses. And, believe it or not, I still think he's a sweet and perfect baby boy!

Lol. And I thought Peyton was bad. I am startin to think she is mellow compared to this. This is too funny. I think you and my sister would get along great. Her boys are the same way.

Ok so I don't feel so bad. Savannah is always making a mess out of something. Garrett was a bit of a mess maker but nothing compared to what Savannah does. I always feel like people would think I was such a bad mom because she does all this stuff and it would seem like I don't watch her....but those kids are S-N-E-A-K-Y!!!!!

Oh amanda I dont think its all boys. Kyesun was the perfect little boy ask TyAnn and Megan. They use to say he wasnt normal because he was so calm quiet and content. Now Kayben on the other hand is just like drew. Im not sure what it is. the other day he got into the laundry soap after stacking coolaid cans and climbing up on the washer and then he proceeded to pour soap everywhere. I have a million stories just like yours. I will be like kayben no what are you doing, you dont do that and he will say oh yeah mommy sorry. lol but its a constant sentence in our house. lol

Holy smokes, that is hilarious! If I had to make a prediction, I think I may be going down this road with Crew. That pic of Drew in the pantry is so funny!

ps. Drew drinking the syrup reminds me of the Christmas movie, Elf. Ha!

Jessie.....how funny that you thought of Elf. That is the family joke now, and he may or may not have been called Buddy a time or two.
