So, besides being lame, I'm also cranky. Anyone remember just how much I LOVE the mud? {dripping with sarcasm}
My crankiness for your viewing pleasure......
My driveway, which as you can see I have to park on the side and walk over the hill to get to the door.
Concrete Trucks, Septic Trucks, and Backhoes sure leave a big mess.
The path to grandma's house is even demolished.
Hey, at least the kids are enjoying it.
Thank goodness for all of the wonderful holiday treats we've received to cheer {fatten} me up lately! Chocolate really does make me happy! ;) Yeah, I haven't even delivered (or made any for that matter) treats this year either. Lame.
Unfortunately, the 'gas man' can't get the part we need to hook up the gas lines. So, once again our schedule is pushed back and we have to reschedule inspections on our house yet again. And, I'm the lucky one who gets to play in the mud for the next two weeks like this. Anyone out there happen to have a 1 inch compression T-valve for poly gas lines? Anyone????? I'll pay you double the cost for it! Really, I'm not joking!
(2 more weeks, 2 more weeks, 2 more weeks.....if I keep chanting it over and over it makes me feel better, along with the chocolate of course)
Pity party over, thanks for stopping by........

Ahh thats a bummer! Hang in there, and this will all be just a distant memory soon!
I've been cranky lately too, although I'm blaming mine on the baby. In a lot of ways though, building a house and being pregnant are a lot the same: it doesn't always finish when you plan/want it to, it makes chocolate a necessity, it makes you tired, your ankles swell... ok, maybe not that last one. The gas company gave us tons of trouble too. I hope they are better for you. So, no worries. We all have our cranky times.
so you know i'm trying to find you a christmas present right now. but my dad says there is either a comp. "t" or a "valve" or he doesn't know what you are looking for. have your plumber or husband call him and he'll have our techs check the vans and warehouse. ;) good luck.
592-4688 brad. or me 592-4687.
What a muddy mess! I'd be a little stressed too!
I hope you find that valve. What a pain.
And eat some peppermint bark. That always makes me feel better.
OH Amanda! I am sorry! I would be cranky too! Hang in there tho! it will all be worth it in the end! Merry Christmas!
I'm not much help, but I did drive by and see your house on Monday!
