Last night we purchased all the light bulbs for our house. Holy Cow! It was way more than I thought we would have to spend. Any guesses on how much money we spent to light our new house? The winner will receive the first burnt-out bulb as a prize. {wink wink} I'll give you a hint.......we had to purchase over 80 bulbs of many different varieties.

Update: Wow, so many guesses?! OK, since obviously everyone is just dying to know the answer......we spent over $500 in stinkin' light bulbs! I'm serious too. Yes, we did upgrade to the long lasting energy efficient bulbs, and all I can say is they better work or I'm going in for a refund!

Isn't it amazing how something so small can cost so much! Energy efficient bulbs work great by the way... we've had the same bulbs in for over 2 years now!
