....the rest of us play!
I agreed to let Lexi ride the bus home from school today. I was so happy to see her that I forgot to take a picture of her getting off the bus. Gaylee took such good care of my girl! I don't think I would have let her ride otherwise. I tried to convince Lexi to let me pick her up tomorrow, but she said "No mom. I want to ride the bus with my friends. Is that OK with you?" How could I say no to that. So, I will be letting Lexi ride the bus home each day. :(
Waiting for the bus at the end of our lane (you can even see our house in the background.....yay)
Lexi had a crash on the playground today. She was running and tripped, scraping up her hands and knees. I about started crying when I saw her all bandaged up. But, Mrs. M'Lu took good care of her in the nurses office. It's such a good thing I know all these people so well or I would be a nervous wreck. I need to get a grip and get these mommy-emotions under control!

Good old Mrs. M'Lu!! She taught me swimming lessons back in the day...we're talking in the 80's (I know, I'm old), and then she owned the Kinko's I worked at in college! Small world
Aww, I love hearing you share all these tender mommy moments. It is nice that you know all of these people who are helping take care of your little one.
How sweet Amanda, I love the picture of Lexi showing off her wounds. No one really knows I have a blog, I just started it this summer at Naomi's coaxing. :)
Hey Amanda, this is Katie, from the movie swap. As long as it's not rated R, then I'm happy with whatever! I know, I'm not very helpful...sorry, I'm just really easy to please!
Isnt it nice that Gaylee does the preschool run in the afternoon?! Im glad that she was well taken care of by the nurse!
Alright, your thoughts on the last pendragon book? I was a little confused as my favorite characters were dying left and right...but then it's a little Harry Potterish with everyone coming back and they are in some strange place planning the ultimate revenge against Saint Dane? I'm sad that the next book will be the last!
