Sister Storytime & Getting Braver

This afternoon I was doing dishes when I heard some sweet giggles. I turned around to see this. Lexi was reading a book to Kourtney. One thing my girls have in common with me is a love of reading and books. Lexi had a pile of her favorite books and was reading them to Kourtney. We have read them together so many times both girls have them memorized. I just love when they play so well together.

Drew is getting more brave with each passing day. My once content baby boy is no longer happy to just sit and watch. He wants a piece of the action too now. He has finally rolled over at 7 months old, but I have yet to witness it first hand. Although, most every other member of my family has. He is so chubby that he would get high-centered on his round little tummy and just couldn't get enough momentum to get over. But, he is so wiggly that he's finally figured it out. He reaches for everything in sight, and can balance on his hands and knees for a few seconds before tumbling over. People ask me all the time if I'm excited for him to crawl. When I respond "No!" I get weird looks. Well, truth be told, I know what happens once they are mobile. So, I am perfectly content to enjoy my stationary baby before he's all over the place. They grow way too fast, so why rush it any more? Drew is still as happy as ever, and such a joy to our family!

I completely agree about the crawling thing, I look back on the time when Broc wasnt mobile and I miss it! So your right enjoy it while it lasts!
