Fun @ the Fair

Thursday night we ventured out to the San Juan County Fair. The kids were amazing and had a blast! Here are a few of the highlights............

Kourtney loved the llama's and thought they were so cute. Drew gazed at everything from his stroller and was perfectly content to sit there and watch. Lexi and Kourtney wanted to take home a black and white bunny. Lexi honked at the geese and baaed at the sheep. Kourtney thought the goats with horns were scary. Lexi cracked up at a goose standing in it's water and took a picture of it herself. Kourtney stepped in a big cow pie.....YUCK! Both girls found 'Wilbur' and wanted a picture of the famous pig. And Jeremy and Amanda about gagged at the smell of the animal barns and were reminded over and over and over why they don't have pets. (No offense to those of you who keep these animals as pets or whatever. We are not pet people. Don't get me wrong, we love animals...........from a distance, behind a fence, once or twice a year at the fair or zoo, where we don't have to feed or clean them. Maybe one day we'll get a dog or something, but don't hold your breath.)

After the animals, it was time for some yummy fair food and the best lemonade ever! I love that stuff! I wanted to go look at all the other stuff people enter, but after running into a ton of familiar faces, the girls patience was gone. So we ventured over to the carnival! It was so much fun for our sweet little princesses. I kept forgetting that I had my camera so I don't have many pictures.

It was a great night. All three kids were amazing and so well behaved! I love it when that happens! What a fun night at the County Fair!
