Happy Birthday Drew!!!

I can't believe my baby boy is 4 years old!!!!

Because Drew's birthday is the day after Christmas, we have tried to make it extra special so that he doesn't ever feel like his birthday and Christmas are just combined into one. Also, because we are moving in a few short days, we wanted Drew to have a day of fun with our family we are leaving behind. 

When I asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday, instantly he said bowling! So, we went bowling, and had a great time! 

While the rest of us bowled, grandpa held the baby girls.

My little man is 4!

After we finished bowling, Drew wanted to have lunch at "Snap Dragon" (a.k.a. Golden Dragon........that kid loves that place!) So we all enjoyed the yummy buffet and were glad Drew made such a great choice. (I personally was very relieved he didn't choose Taco Bell, and Jeremy was relieved he didn't choose Red Lobster.........two of his other favorites.)

After we got home from bowling and lunch, his birthday buddy Aunt Carolyn came and picked him up for an afternoon treat. She took him to Dairy Queen, and they both enjoyed some birthday ice cream.

Later in the evening, everyone joined us at our house for presents, cake, and ice cream. Because of the craziness of our packing and moving I didn't make a fancy cake. But Drew was perfectly pleased with his "sprinkle cake" as he calls it.

He has been asking for one of these bad boys since February when his cousin Jordan got a similar one for his birthday. Andrew was beyond excited!!!

And he finished off the night by doing a little birthday boogie in his p.j.'s and new boots from Aunt Meggie!
