F.I.R.E. and a Very Important Call

Tonight Wesley, the resident pyro, built a bonfire outside. He's having a little party for the cool people, as he puts it. Even though I'm his most favorite sister, and I live next door, I was not invited to the party because I'm too old.

As he was getting the fire going, my girls were in awe of the rising flames. So, we stood on our back deck and watched as Wes tended to his precious little fire. After a minute (and when I knew Wes was within earshot), I told the girls, in a very loud voice I might add, "It's time to go inside because we weren't invited to the party. We're not cool enough for Uncle Wes!" Wes had some sarcastic reply, but I was ignoring him.

Then, my sweet little Lexi put her hands on her hips, and with all the sassy-ness she could muster up said..."Well then maybe we should call the fire department to put his fire out!"

Then Jeremy threw water balloons at him. And that made me happy. The End

On another note, Wesley received his mission call today to the Washington Everett Mission. He reports to the MTC on September 16th. We are very excited for him and this wonderful opportunity he has to serve! Congratulations and good luck Wes!

Lexi is my kind of girl. If you can't have they shouldn't either!

Congrats to Wesley on his mission call.

I feel so old that Wes would not think you or even me and Megan would be cool! I remember when he was not cool and just the annoying little brother.

You go LExi!! How stinkin cute was that comment from her!!!
