Golden Pencil Awards

Tonight we were lucky enough to once again attend the Golden Pencil Awards at our Elementary School. This is an award that is given out to a few kids from each grade level based on their writing skills.  Alexis received this award as a Kindergartner and a 1st Grader. So, we were thrilled when she was chosen once again as a 2nd grader. And our sassy little Kourtney received the award too! I am sooooooo extremely proud of my smart girls and their love for learning. I'm so grateful they love to read and write. Plus, it made each of them feel wonderful to be recognized for all of their hard work!
