Lexi's first tooth

Today Alexis lost her first tooth! It has been pretty loose and wiggly for a while, but she didn't want anyone to try and pull it........until today that is.

We were outside when a neighbor came over to visit and see the new baby. My girls love this neighbor, so much in fact that they call her grandma. Lexi proudly walked over to Grandma Sue to show her the loose tooth, which she had showed her the previous Sunday at church. It was quite a bit more loose than it had been a few days before. Grandmas Sue told Lexi that she pulls teeth for her grand kids all the time, and asked Lexi if she wanted her to try and pull it as well. Lexi jumped all over that. So, Grandma Sue reached in, grabbed that little tooth, and popped it right out! Then she fished into her pocket and gave Lexi a quarter. The big tooth is already coming in, and so the baby one really needed to come out soon. Thank goodness for Grandma Sue!

The days of playing tooth fairy have begun!
